Walking Distance

Though located in a quiet village, excellent recreational opportunities are easily accessible on foot from the hotel. Immediately adjacent to the hotel and connected by a path lies Happy Park-a large leisure complex as part of the resort area-from where you can access tennis courts; children's large playground;bocce court;cafe/bar with terrace all within walking distance.

The hotel also sits right on a long section of the famous Lunga Via delle Dolomiti cycling and walking path, more recently constructed over the former railway line. You can walk or cycle along this flat scenic paved trail for miles in either direction towards San Vito di Cadore and Cortina (uphill/flat) or down towards Calalzo. This is surely among one of the most beautiful pedestrian paths in all the Alps, through forest with mountain views.

The main supermarket and pharmacy are a ten to fifteen minute walk on foot from the house, in the very center of Borca di Cadore. The church is also located there, with some local bars around it. For your big shopping spree or serious boutique shopping, you’ll have to go to Cortina d’Ampezzo by car or bus.
